Within the next 30 minutes Victoria posted to her social channels amassing over 150K likes. Countless fashion brands such as Vogue and HighSnobiety shared the image in their own articles about the new partnership. Overall the shoot was a great success resulting in most importantly the approval and satisfaction of both Victoria and Reebok. 

For the second year in a row I have been hired by Roxbury based nonprofit, the BASE, to create their annual fundraiser gala celebration video. This year we decided to film a few events along the way to capture b-roll.

I caught up with Ellen and her team during the beginning of summer training camp out on the Charles River.

Shot on my 3rd trip to Rwanda for Shooting Touch, a basketball nonprofit with the mission of using sport to educate and empower at-risk and the communities in which they live. For this film I utilized an incredible speech by Shooting Touch Board Member and Athletic Director of the Noble & Greenough school that he gave to a group of new coaches in Nyamirama, Rwanda following a coaches clinic.

Last week I had the pleasure of heading out to a small park in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood to photograph the Shooting Touch G3 annual free basketball camp for girls. The G3 camp partners with female police officers in Boston for 1 week of nonstop basketball skills, drills and mentorship.

Back in January, Reebok brought me out to the Bahamas for their annual athlete summit. Our mission was to capitalize of all the top Crossfit athletes locatied in one place and create a catalog for their social media channels to be released over time.

Boston based nonprofit, the BASE, recently commissioned me to direct and produce a film about their program. I was given almost full creative control with the mission of telling a great story in a cinematic way. Luckily, a great story is not hard to tell when they are real and happening constantly around an organization like the BASE.

For the first time in 4 years and really for the first time as an "adult," I took an entire week off. As a freelance photographer it's extremely scary to take off time during the first few years of your career. Questions like "What if I miss out on a huge job?" "What will my clients say when they can't reach me?" "Will this end my career?" all constantly haunted me leading up to my first vacation. 

I had the pleasure of photographing the "Fittest Woman on Earth," 2015 Crossfit Champion Katrin Davidsdottir for Gamplan-a, an Adidas Group blog. This is the story of that shoot. 

While the girls may have felt they were there just to improve their skills or simply have a good time, they were constantly getting lessons and quick lectures from the ST coaches, who happen to be Mass General nurses, and the BPD.
